NEW OX-DTML FOR LIFTING EXTREMELY HEAVY LOADS

OX & RUD (Double Trunnion Multi-Lug) is an innovative end terminal system for the OX Spreader Beam range of spreader beams, which is particularly versatile for lifting any type of load but has been specially designed for lifting extremely heavy loads (heavy-duty lifting applications).

 

The OX-DTML has been developed to offer greater efficiency, safety and reliability in the handling of heavy loads, but with added versatility by responding to the specific operational need of the sector to be able to use either shackles to connect lifting accessories such as slings or grommets, or to connect these slings directly to this terminal thanks to the round pins called Trunnions. These eliminate the need for shackles, which are very expensive in heavy-duty lifting.

The OX-DTML In Detail

WHAT IS THE OX-DTML?

The OX-DTML is a Bimodal End Terminal with top and bottom lifting lugs, both for shackles and directly via slings or grommets to trunnions.

It is compatible with the OX-Spreader Beam range. Currently available from the SB-250 to the SB-1350, a range where its versatility is best exploited. Actual capacities: 250, 400, 600, 800 and 1350 tonnes!. Other sizes available on request.

HOW DOES THE OX-DTML WORK?

It has longitudinally oriented shackle lugs that allow it to tilt to orient itself within the range of geometries possible in the OX spreader beam range. At the same time, it has a trunnion-type housing that can be hooked onto a pair of slings or grommets, which are also smaller than if we used a single one and also eliminate the need for a shackle.

This feature allows for a wide range of combinations that increase its versatility.
